The Highway Maintenance Division oversees the maintenance and safe operation of municipal roads and state highways. Our responsibilities include pavement and sidewalk upkeep, sign and signal maintenance, street-light repairs, drainage support, and seasonal work. During winter, the unit performs full snow-and-ice operations, including plowing, salting, and storm cleanup. Additionally, our Beltway Emergency Response Team (BERT) provides specialized response for major traffic incidents and delivers roadside assistance services to support drivers and keep traffic moving efficiently.

HMD and BERT will be out on the beltway to ensure all drivers are safe!

We have a roadside assistance pager in our discord server that can be used when anyones vehicle is stuck, disabled, broken down, out of fuel, etc.
