## 1. Ads
MaxiUp **does not show ads**.
## 2. Subscriptions and payments
- Digital subscriptions/features are offered via **Apple In‑App Purchase (IAP)**.
- We (and/or our purchasing provider) may process purchase/renewal events and subscription status to provide the service and support “restore purchases”.
## 3. Information we process
### 3.1 Photos you provide (camera or photo library)
When you choose to create content, you may take a photo with your camera or select one from your photo library. That photo is processed to generate the result you requested. Some flows may transmit the photo to our servers and to our AI processing provider for processing.
### 3.2 App usage and diagnostics
We may process technical information such as app version, device/OS information, and crash/error signals to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
### 3.3 Push notifications
If you enable notifications, we process a push token to deliver notifications to your device.
### 3.4 Purchases/subscriptions
We may process purchase/subscription status information needed to confirm access and support restores.
## 4. Face and Facial Data (Required disclosure)
This section explains face-related data handling in one place.
### 4.1 What face data does the app collect?
> "The app does not collect face data as a separate category. When you choose to create content, you select a photo from your device (camera or photo library). That photo may contain faces. The photo is processed only to generate the result you requested. We do not extract or store facial biometric identifiers (for example, face templates or faceprints) on our own systems."
### 4.2 Complete explanation of all planned uses of collected face data
> "The only planned use of the photo (and any face data in the photo) is to provide the generation/analysis feature you requested and to display the generated results to you inside the app. We do not use your photos or face data for advertising."
### 4.3 Will face data be shared with third parties? Where is it stored?
> "Yes. The photo you select (which may contain faces) is sent to Replicate (`https://replicate.com`), our AI processing provider, so they can run the selected AI model for the feature you requested. We do not sell your photos or face data. The photo is processed on Replicate’s systems. We may also temporarily process the photo on our own servers as part of a job queue to complete your request."
You can review Replicate’s privacy policy at `https://replicate.com/privacy`.
### 4.4 How long is face data retained?
> "We do not retain facial biometric identifiers. We retain photos only for as long as needed to complete processing and deliver results. Replicate may retain inputs/outputs temporarily as described in their privacy policy; we do not control their retention period."
### 4.5 Where in the privacy policy is face data explained?
> "The app’s collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of face data are explained in Section 4 (Face and Facial Data) of this privacy policy."
### 4.6 Quoted text from the privacy policy concerning face data
