Performance

In addition to theatre, Matthew grew up playing the violin, performing in the Color Guard for his school's marching band, singing in school choirs, and dabbling in writing his own music and poems. Performance is how Matthew entered into the world of theatre and the role of "performer" will always be one he holds dear to his heart.

Matthew has been performing in a variety of ways for as long as he can remember and he's always had a passion for the arts and a flair for the dramatic. He is currently performing as Ricky Potts in Ride the Cyclone at The Barn Playhouse. In the summer of 2025, he performed in the ensemble of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical with Music Mountain Theatre. Below you'll find his most recent performance resume.
