MatSci Makers: Competitions
Ever wanted to try making something in the MatSci Makerspace but didn't know how to get involved? Starting in Fall of 2022, the MatSci Makers have facilitated any group that wants to compete in collegiate materials design competitions and develop personal interest materials projects. We can help you find team members, set deadlines and goals, provide technical guidance to using the unique tools and equipment in the space, and generally set you up with all the skills you need to succeed and compete. Contact us via our contact form for more info!

Bladesmithing
Some of the competitions we are happy to facilitate:
Beyond the bag: Reinventing the retail plastic bag (Completed in 2020, but many competitions by Closed Loop Partners like this)
