Suitable for: MatSci Makers workshops/events, personal materials-related projects, academic materials research
Access for: all Penn students
Unique for: being the center for materials research at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the first academic materials research laboratories in the nation

Suitable for: experiential learning and facilitating startups
Access for: Penn students that have joined the Studio@VentureLabs Slack and received training
Unique for: being the largest hub of its kind on any college campus and including five Maker Studios, the Food Innovation Lab, the Digital Media Lab, the Digital Design Studio, and the Retail Lab

Tangen Hall

Suitable for: general makerspace projects and bioengineering/biochemistry-focused projects
Access for: all Penn students
Unique for: being one of the few makerspaces in the world that can support biological and chemical projects (with approval)

Suitable for: electrical engineering-focused projects
Access for: all ESE and ESE Senior Design students
