Since September 2024, I have had the honor of serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Alumni Association of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg (AFL). This position, which I fill on a voluntary basis, allows me to contribute to a vital and growing community of over 1000 members, including alumni, students, teachers, and supporting businesses.
With more than 30 years of experience fostering higher education and student development, the AFL is more than just an association. It is a thriving network that enables knowledge transfer through various events, smoothly bridging the gap between theory and practice. Regularly, it lends support to projects initiated by alumni, students, and various student initiatives.
Apart from fostering connections among alumni, former and current students, professors, and academic associates, the AFL also provides ample opportunities for ongoing education through a variety of seminars and events. As Chairman of the Board, I am privileged to work alongside a welcoming and dedicated team that shares my passion for contributing to this vibrant network. Together, we are committed to ensuring that every member can continue to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions to our society.
Our association, as a non-profit charitable entity, operates on the principles of democracy and volunteerism. We aim to enhance the experiences and futures of all our members while giving back to our community, reflecting the values at the heart of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
