My name is Touseef Sadiq and I work as a PhD researcher at University of Agder Norway. I obtained my B.E degree in computer engineering from Bahria University Islamabad, Pakistan. During my time there, I was fortunate to receive various scholarships and awards for my academic excellence.I was awarded a fully funded scholarship to pursuea master’sdegree abroad. I successfully attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in communications and computer networks engineering at Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy.

I was honored to be granted a fully funded doctoral position at the University of Agder, Norway where I'm currently a PhD researcher in the Artificial Intelligence(AI) domain. My research interests have evolved over the years and are deeply rooted in the realms of AI. Some of my primary areas of interest include machine learning, computer vision, deep multimodal learning, and their diverse applications. These interests have propelled me into the fascinating world of academia and research, where I continue to explore innovative solutions to real-world problems.

A little about myself and my journey: I hail from a picturesque valley village in Kashmir, a place where educational resources and modern infrastructure were scarce. However, I was fortunate to have the unwavering support of my parents, teachers, and mentors who instilled in me the value of education. Despite the initial challenges, I remained dedicated to my studies. After completing my education up to the 10th grade in my village school, I moved to capital city to pursue higher education in Pakistan. The journey was not without its obstacles, but my belief in long-term achievements, along with hard work and consistency, shaped my path to success.

For future students, I would like to offer some valuable advice. In the world of education and academia, remember that both hard work and smart work are essential. Consistency in your journey is key to achieving your goals. Start with small steps and keep in mind that initial failures should not deter you; instead, view them as opportunities to learn and grow. Perseverance is the ultimate tool for reaching your aspirations.
