I'm Jawad Ali and I am from Faisalabad, Pakistan. I started my math journey at Government College University Faisalabad, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with an impressive CGPA of 3.99 out of 4.00. I successfully secured fully-funded scholarships for master program in mathematics at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. My master studies specializes in pure mathematics. Later, I pursued advanced studies at Freie University Berlin where I was awarded a fully-funded Ph.D. position at the University of Bologna in Italy. Currently, I'm a Ph.D. candidate there, conducting research in Subriemannian Geometry and Analysis under Prof. Dr. Giovanna Citti's guidance.
I got my primary education from a village in Faisalabad. When I was in intermediate, I wanted to go to a good country abroad for higher education. I always used to listen to people's motivations about scholarships on different social media platforms. In the beginning, I had a lot of difficulty in applying, but with the passage of time, I learned a lot of things and developed my skills. At the initial stage, I faced a lot of rejections because I didn't know the right way to apply and I learned a lot over time and finally I got a full funded PhD position at Italy's top university, University of Bologna.I request all my juniors to apply for scholarships in foreign countries. In start, things will be difficult but with time you will become an expert of things. The goal is very close. Try to stay in that circle where there is a lot of motivation.

I am Usman Musharraf, from Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. I completed a two-year bachelor's degree at Government Degree College Kahuta, followed by two master's degrees in Mathematics at Postgraduate College Asgharmall (affiliated with the University of Punjab) in Rawalpindi. I secured the 2nd position in my class.
Motivated by my academic achievements, I decided to pursue further studies at Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad, where I completed my MPhil in pure mathematics. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Asif Ali, I conducted research in the fields of cryptography and coding theory, culminating in a thesis.
To strengthen my understanding of algebra, I chose to pursue a second master's degree in Germany and gained admission to Freie University Berlin. Currently in my second semester, my academic journey took an unexpected turn as I received a fully funded scholarship for a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Campania in Italy. I am now preparing to begin my Ph.D. studies in Italy.
For students aspiring to study abroad, I encourage resilience and perseverance. Rejections may come initially, but don't be disheartened—keep trying. Feel free to reach out at usman.mushrraf@studenti.unicampania.it if you need guidance on scholarships; I am here to help.
