1. Click the check box to plot points.

3. Move the sliders to to adjust the line by eye.

4. Click the check box to show vertical distance to see if you can improve your line of best fit.

5. Click the check boxes to show squares and sum of squares. Move the sliders m and b to make the sum of the areas of the squares a minimum.

6. Click to see the mean of both x and y.

7. Click the check box target line of best fit and move the sliders correspondingly so the equation of f(x) matches. Check that the areas of the squares is a minimum.
