NATIONAL SEMINAR ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN APPLIED MATHEMATICS

5th and 6th October 2018
A two day National Seminar on Recent Advancements in Applied Mathematics was organized by PG Department of Mathematics, Bharathi Women’s College, Chennai-108 on 5th and 6th October 2018 as a part of the GOLDEN JUBILEE celebrations of the department with partial finance assistance from Tamilnadu state council for higher education (TANSCHE). The basic aim of this seminar was to make the participants aware of the recent advances in applied Mathematics.

The talks were well received by the participants who were from the various Colleges of Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur districts. It helped them in understanding the current research areas and motivated to enhance research in their area of study. The Seminar came to an end with the Valedictory function in which certificates were distributed to the participants by the chief guest Dr. N. Chandramowliswaran. Dr. S. Nirmala, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics proposed the vote of thanks.
