About the Mathematics Test:
The mathematics test is 40 minutes long and is comprised of 60 Multiple Choice questions testing your knowledge in the areas of basic mathematics, algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, math analysis, analytic geometry, pre-calculus and elementary calculus. This is usually the last test we take of the competition unless you are participating in other competitions.
All answers must be written in Block Letters on the answer sheet.
You may skip questions (it is recommended that you find the most easiest problems to gain more points) however there is a penalty for all wrong answers.
For every correct question you gain 6 points but for every incorrect answer is a 2 point deduction.
Graphing calculators are allowed on this test but they must conform to UIL or TMSCA Standards.
