Grading

Your Math 1B course grade is calculated based on the following weighted categories:

• Homework - 10% 

• Quizzes - 10% 

• Tests (2 tests, worth 25% each) - 50%

• Final Exam - 30%

Your grade will be assigned using the following scale:

               A:  90-100              B:  80-89                 C:   70-79                D:   60-69                F:    0-59

• I use standard rounding rules when assigning grades at the end of the semester, which means that an 89.5% would round up to an A, but an 89.4% would remain a B. 

• There are no pluses and minuses here at SRJC.
