MISSION STATEMENT

It is my mission to expand the minds of students inside the world of mathematics and beyond to the real world of lifelong learning. My classroom will be a positive climate based on respect and encouragement where students are constantly challenged to think mathematically and critically. I believe in integrating technology into students’ educational experience,as being proficient in technology is imperative in today’s world. It is my mission to give students the mathematical connections that will help build confidence as they continue with their high school courses. When students are confident, they become excited and interested in their own learning process, and that ownership creates responsibility and motivation. My goal is for students to leave my classroom eager to take their curiosity into their own lives. Come along for the journey.
