Ms. Stupp was born in Gainesville, FL (quite a long time ago) before Netflix, smart phones and the internet. Moving to Tampa three months later, she completed her schooling (elementary, middle and high school) and returned to Gainesville to attend THE University of Florida. Ms. Stupp graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education and returned to Tampa to teach at a 7th grade center called Blake Junior High School. After 7 years at the same school, Ms. Stupp left Blake, and Tampa, and trekked down to sunny Ft. Lauderdale. She taught for one year at Pompano Beach Middle School, four years at Nova Middle School, five years at Bair Middle School and is currently employed at Falcon Cove Middle School. During her 20+++ years of teaching, Ms. Stupp has also received Gifted Certification, her Master's Degree in Mathematics Education, Middle School Mathematics Teacher of the Year for Broward County and Falcon Cove's Teacher of the Year during the Inaugural Year. Additionally, Ms. Stupp has written numerous county exams and county curriculum, presented county and state mathematics and computer workshops, and has been a consultant to Prentice Hall publishers and the Sun Sentinel. Ms. Stupp also received National Board Teacher Certification in 2002 and updated that certification in 2012. In her spare time, Ms. Stupp loves to read, watch movies, see theater, play, watch, and coach sports, and travel. In the summertime, you can find Ms. Stupp sleeping late, exercising in the neighborhood (or at least talking to all of the neighbors on her morning jaunts), relaxing on a lounge chair in the shade with a good book (on her I-Phone), participating in professional development for work, or traveling.
