Building 21119
Houses Concurrent Support Courses for math, which are designed to prepare students for the rigor of transfer-level math courses and learning skills necessary to succeed in college courses. Aligned with your math course and designed with innovative strategies to provide math and learning support while you are taking your math course. The support classes are offered for credit (MATH 100C or 101C) or for tuition-free noncredit (NMAT 200C or 201C or 202C). Students may enroll in noncredit as many times as desired.
Room 21215
Available for drop-in and one-on-one tutoring, student tutors are there to help you succeed. Faculty also hold office hours for easy access. Check out the schedule available in the Tutorial Center. Sign up for math tutors ASAP, as they are the quickest to go!
Most math tutors are used in the MLC, so it may be easier to get help by signing up for a concurrent support class (they're free!)
Building 2000
MANY Resources other than textbooks are available! Quiet study spaces, group study rooms available (book in advance online); Printing, scanning; MS Office available on computers; Classes; Textbooks, laptops, calculators, available for 2-hour, 4-hour or 24-hour check outs (time depending on item)

A GREAT resource for students, the LPC Computer Center is staffed with knowledgeable people ready to help you with any technology for your classes!

Technology and software use issues
Smart Shops are special one- or two-hour workshops on specific topics ranging from academics, transfer, and career topics. They are held throughout campus at various times of the day. Many smart shops are repeated at alternative days/times for convenience. Check out the calendar at the website and try to register in advance.
Inside Tutorial Center
The RAW Center provides reading and writing help from English and ESL instructors to all Las Positas College students. RAW Center Tutors can assist you with: writing and reading assignments from any class; reading comprehension and strategies; essays: brainstorming, developing your ideas, organization, thesis statements, paragraph focus, and conclusions; MLA and APA documentation and format; grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation; and transfer and scholarship statements.

The DSPS offers academic and personal support for students with physical, communication, learning and psychological disabilities. Our goal is to encourage students to become independent and assertive participants in their own educational process. Accessibility in classes, facilities, and all services is our ultimate objective.
Building 1600, 1st floor
Professional counselors are available to assist current and prospective students in identifying, clarifying, and reaching their educational and career goals. Counselors provide Academic, Transfer, Career, Personal, and Online counseling services. All counseling appointments are confidential. In addition, as faculty, counselors teach PCN courses that are designed to help students reach success!
2nd floor bldg. 1600, room 1650
The purpose of Financial Aid is to ensure that each student has sufficient resources to enable them to attend college. We provide grants, fee waivers, scholarships, loans, and federal work-study. Financial aid funds are provided to help with all costs of attending college, including costs of enrollment fees, book and supplies, room and board, other personal and living expenses, transportation, childcare, and computers.
Work-based learning activities extend the classroom into the workplace--putting the theory, knowledge and skills gained in class into practice. Those linkages make for better students and better employees. Las Positas College’s Work-Based Learning Initiative is dedicated to help create these linkages. Also contact instructors in your interested field for connections!

Resources for veterans and an inviting place to study! Some of my office hours will be held here to help support the program. You are WELCOME to attend, whether you are a veteran/spouse/dependent or not!

This team of medical, behavioral health and public health professionals are here to provide high quality integrated healthcare services that promote physical and psychological well-being, treats minor health issues, helps students navigate the healthcare and insurance systems and strives to empower students to have a healthy and successful academic experience.
There are many active clubs on campus with a variety of interests! Check out the posters around campus to learn more or talk with an instructor.
I am the advisor of AGS Honor Society, and Math Club, and I’d love to tell you more about these great clubs!
Visit the Welcome Center for Basic Needs, including food, housing, laundry and financial help. The Market provides FREE FOOD to everyone monthly.

California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Program is the state's public assistance program that provides temporary assistance to families with children. The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance to promote and enable families to find meaningful employment and become self-sufficient.

Las Positas College's Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) assists low income and educationally disadvantaged students to achieve their educational and career goals. EOPS is a support program available for the full-time student who can benefit from a variety of extra services that promote academic success and personal growth.
On December 5, 2017 the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District Board of Trustees approved the Las Positas College Joint Resolution that designated LPC a “sanctuary campus.” The administrators, faculty, and staff firmly believe that all students belong at LPC and should be supported in their educational pursuits. This website has a ton of resources!
Also look for “ALLY” posters on office doors for college staff willing to help you get access to the resources you need to be successful in college.

On-campus childcare services for students!
There are scholarships available for children of students. The 2Gen Fund was created to fund a child’s enrollment at the Las Positas College Early Childhood Center. Scholarships for toddler and pre-school students are need and performance based.
