Exams (completed on paper)
You can raise your exam grade by retaking any exam.
Before students are able to retake an exam, they must correct their current exam using pencil/pen and paper. Students can work on corrections with me, Math Lab tutors, Afsan, other classmates, etc.
Then please have me, Afsan, or a Math Lab tutor review and sign off on the corrections. The signature should be on the top page of the corrections and the corrections should be attached to the original exam.
After a student corrects the exam and obtains the signature, then the student needs to meet with me or Afsan for follow-up questions and a short discussion where we will try practice problems, discuss study strategies, etc.
Once these steps are complete (corrections, signature, short meeting), then a retake is possible if you email me 24 hours in advance. For retakes, best score will be used. The first attempt is due by the date listed on the Class Calendar. The 2nd and 3rd attempts are due by December 19, 2025. Each attempt has different problems. All exam attempts will be proctored during class or office hours. No online resources, no books, no notes, etc. allowed on any of the exams. There is NO extra credit on any exam.
In-Class Quizzes (completed on paper)

However, before students are able to retake an in-class quiz, students must correct their current graded in-class quiz using pencil/pen and paper. Students can work on corrections with me, Math Lab tutors, Afsan, other classmates, etc. Signatures and a short meeting are not required for in-class quiz corrections.
