How do I get started?

Step 1 - Login to Canvas

• Check out all the course materials already posted.

• Canvas contains all class information (grades, syllabus, announcements, calendar, textbook, etc.). 

• Username: 10-digit College Student Identification (ID) number. Password: 8-digit birthdate with no hyphens, slashes, or spaces (MMDDYYYY). For example: 0009010101 (ID number used at registration) and 06031980 (password for birthdate June 3, 1980).

Step 2 - Consider taking this class for honors.

• The honors contract is located below.

Step 3 - Start reading the textbook

• If you want a head start, you can begin reading Chapter 1 of the textbook.

Step 4 - Attend Class and Office Hours - See you there!

Location: Here are directions to get to the M-building on the Miramar Campus. Our class meets in M104 (1st floor of the M building). There is a parking structure (G-3) right next to the M building. If you go to the second floor of the parking structure, you will see parking for students. Please see the Campus Map. You can use this address in Google Maps: M-100 Building on Miramar College Drwy, San Diego, CA 92126. Please display a parking pass. There is also a transit center located right next to the M building.
