Research Interests. Mainly involved in development, I always enjoy – and have the visceral need for – diving into the theoretical foundations of the tools I use to get better understanding in the background of the concerned domains. Sometimes, just talking about Mathematics with specialists urge me to understand more about certain topics. Group theory fills my leisure time while K-Space to geometrical space conversions fills my working days, as well as physical foundations of MRI techniques. Currently, most of my interests are focused on digital signal processing though, together with linear algebra, statistics and graph algorithms.

Short Bio. After an apprenticeship as electrician, I studied embedded systems and electronics at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis where I got my Bachelor. I then worked two years in a high voltage generator/motors diagnosis company as field service engineer where I did installation of equipment and wrote diagnosis reports based on partial discharges patterns. I spent two more years as an electronics developer in a company involved in the same area of activity. In between, I have been teaching electronics, mathematics, and physics at the Ecole des métiers in Sion for two years. After having spent two more years in miscellaneous companies, my curiosity pushed me in an Artificial intelligence formation given by the IDIAP in Martigny. I followed and successfully achieved 6 modules before starting my job in January 2021 at the HES-SO Valais as scientific collaborator, mainly involved in FPGA programming, machine learning and digital signal processing.
