Mirja Hartimo

Mirja Hartimo specialices in philosophy of mathematics and logic and phenomenology . Hartimo has studied Edmund Husserl's philosophy of mathematics and this research culminates in a forthcoming monograph Husserl and Mathematics. She is currently working in the University of Jyväskylä with a research project ”Marginalization and Experience" lead by Sara Heinämaa.

Maria Hämeen-Anttila

In her recently published dissertation Maria Hämeen-Anttila discusses Kurt Gödel's views on intuitionism and constructive mathematics based on Gödel's previously unpublished notes. Hämeen-Anttila works in an ERC-funded project Gödeliana led by Jan von Plato.

Markus Pantsar

Markus Pantsar's recent research has focused on the cognitive basis of mathematics. He is currently working on a project concerning the epistemology of arithmetic and geometry at the RWTH Aachen and the University of Helsinki.

Jouko Väänänen

(University of Helsinki/ University of Amsterdam)

Jouko Väänänen's research has covered broad range of topics including set theory, model theory, foundations of mathematics, logics of dependence and independence, second order logic and games. Väänänen is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Helsinki and the University of Amsterdam.
