Philosophy of Mathematics in Finland

Philosophy of mathematics in Finland -conference brings together students and researchers of the philosophy of mathematics and logic working in Finland. The conference will be held on 11.11.–12.11.2021 at the Tampere University. The conference is open to everyone interested (requires registration).

The conference will include presentations on the philosophy of mathematics and logic and provides a great opportunity to promote research, share interesting results, network and to engage in lively discussions. We have also reserved time in the conference schedule for discussing possible future events.

PLEASE NOTE! The conference is a physical/virtual hybrid, meaning it will be possible to attend both in-person and online. While we wish to promote interactions between philosophers and hope that many will be able to participate locally. We will follow the recommendations and regulations by the university and the authorities.

Deadline for abstracts: 6.4.2021 -> 31.8.2021

Notification of acceptance: 25.4.2021 -> 13.9.2021

Registration open: 25.4.–12.5.2021 ->13.9.–26.10.2021

Conference: 3.6.–4.6.2021 ->11.11.–12.11.2021

Please keep in mind that we may not be able to answer to email during the conference, therefore you should contact us on Wednesday at the latest to ensure you will get your links.

You are free to circulate the link within your academic community, but please refrain from posting it publicly in social media etc. so we can avoid unwanted bots.

The conference is free of charge and open to everyone interested in the philosophy of mathematics and logic. For practical reasons, we ask that everyone wishing to participate to register by 26.10.2021, using the form below.
