Research
Plasmonic metamaterials, hybrid metal/organic/Nano-structures which possess nanometer thick deposited organic and metal films on top of the nano-structure surface are yet widely unexplored. Depending on the properties of the deposited films, the dynamics of charge carriers in these hybrid structures is expected to be distinctively different. Successful integration of semiconductors and metals can open a vast window to a whole new world of spectacular applications including super-capacitors, biological imaging, cloaking of objects, information technology and photovoltaics.
