Purchase Readers Awards materials, pay region dues, sign up for PD, select Spring Conference meals, and make donations for Advocacy. Â
The MASL Librarians for Inclusive Literacy hosts multiple book clubs each year. The books are picked in the Spring and shared to MASL Members. All are held on Zoom except the April date, which is held at Spring Conference.Â

The Children’s Literature Festival at the University of Central Missouri began in 1969 when Philip Sadler, professor of children’s literature, and Ophelia Gilbert, laboratory school librarian, invited five Missouri authors to speak to local students. The Festival has continued to grow throughout the years and is now the longest running children's literature festival in the United States that is geared toward children. It takes place annually in March.Â
