ELIZABETH LAKE – COPPER-GOLD VMS DEPOSIT
The Elizabeth Lake copper-silver prospect occurs in a north- northeast trending package of sheared, silicified and sericitized metasedimentary biotite gneiss that has been intruded locally by various intrusives.
The deposit is made up of numerous lenticular low-grade mineralized zones and three medium grade zones. The mineralization occurs in a shear zone within sericitic schists and is controlled by steep northeast plunging folds and boudins.
