The agreement between you and MasalaMetrics.

By downloading or using MasalaMetrics, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and delete it. These terms are between you and MasalaMetrics — not Apple.
MasalaMetrics is a general wellness and food-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing it shows you is medical advice.
Calorie and macronutrient targets are produced by standard population formulas from the details you enter. They are estimates for a typical person of your description, not a prescription for you. Speak to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing your diet — especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 16, have diabetes, kidney or heart disease, or have a history of disordered eating.
If you are struggling with your relationship with food, please reach out to a healthcare professional rather than relying on a tracking app.
Recognising a meal from a photograph is inherently approximate. The app can misidentify a dish, misjudge portion size, miss oils, ghee, sauces and hidden ingredients, and return nutrition figures drawn from generic database entries rather than the specific food in front of you.
Always check what the app suggests before saving it, and never rely on it where accuracy genuinely matters — for example when counting carbohydrates for insulin dosing or avoiding an allergen. Do not use MasalaMetrics to decide whether a food is safe for you to eat.
You must be at least 16 years old to use MasalaMetrics. You need an account to save meals, and you are responsible for keeping access to it secure and for activity that happens under it.
Give accurate information when you sign up, do not share your account, and tell us at 5000prashant@gmail.com if you think someone else has got into it. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial food tracking. You agree not to:
Break the law, or use the app to harm or harass anyone
Reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where that right cannot be excluded by law
Access another user's data, or probe, scan or overload our systems
Scrape or bulk-extract nutrition data, or resell any part of the service
Upload unlawful images, or images of people who have not agreed to be photographed
The meals and photos you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them for the sole purpose of running the service for you — analysing a scan, saving your log, showing you your history. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm you have the right to submit anything you upload.
The app itself — its software, design, name and logo — is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. Nutrition figures may come from third-party databases that remain the property of their owners.
We may update, suspend or discontinue features, and the app depends on services we do not control — network access, Apple Health, our cloud and recognition providers. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that puts other users at risk. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it and your account.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MasalaMetrics is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of any nutrition, calorie or activity figure it displays.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or any health outcome arising from your reliance on estimates the app produced. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Apple has no obligation to provide support for MasalaMetrics and is not responsible for the app or any claim relating to it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and disputes will be heard by the courts of Casablanca, Morocco. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
We may revise these terms. For material changes we will ask you to review them in the app before you continue. Carrying on using MasalaMetrics after that means you accept the revised version.
