Presentations of COIL Project 2022

COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) is a method of education in which students from universities in two or more countries are connected online and study together under the supervision of faculty members from both countries. It is expected to be used as a new form of international exchange or as a means to enhance existing courses and study abroad programs.

We implemented the COIL practice into the "Studies in Particular Field," a class of Global English Program at Ibaraki University. In this class, students of Ibaraki University taking thois class and students studying Japanese at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in the U.S. collabravtively worked on the fieldwork project.
