Maryland Mobileers Roundtable Script

Net Guidelines:

Keep the net moving.

Keep comments short between stations

Don’t forget the people who have announcements.

Be flexible.

Remember to give your station Call Sign every 10 minutes and state: "This is your Net Control Station for the Maryland Mobileers Radio Club Roundtable."

Good Evening,

This is [Your Call Sign], net control station for the Maryland Mobileers Amateur Radio Club Roundtable.

 

This net meets every Monday evening at 1930 hours (local) time on the Maryland Mobileers repeater W3CU in Millersville, Maryland, operating on assigned frequencies of 146.205 MHz (IN) and 146.805 MHz (OUT), with a tone of 107.2 Hz.

EchoLink is also available on Node KA2JAI-R 90911.

 

This net is open to all amateur operators and not just members of the Maryland Mobileers Amateur Radio Club.

This net operates in a roundtable format. All transmissions are at the specific direction of the net control station. Please feel free to bring a topic to the net to discuss.  It does not have to be amateur radio related.

1.   Are there any stations with announcements?

 (Handle the announcements now)

 

* Give Station Id every 10 minutes which is "Your Call Sign" and “This is the Maryland Mobileers Amateur Radio Roundtable”

2.   Are there any mobile stations wishing to check-in?

Please advise how long you are going to be mobile, and if you want to give comments now before going out of range. Otherwise, you will be put on the list for comments later in the net.

 

3.   We are now in the Check-in phase. Check-ins  are done by call sign suffixes:

 

Stations with suffixes:

(1)Alpha – Golf                          

(2) Hotel – November

(3)Oscar – Tango

(4) Uniform – Zulu

 

4.   Are there any late reporting stations anywhere in the alphabet?

 

5.   List any late reporting stations

 

6.    ROUND # 1 for Comments

·  Call stations for comments in checked in order. Mobile stations first, then check-in stations.

       (Topics, answers, and/or opinions)

   ·  Pause between stations to listen for any urgent calls.

8. Last call for late reporting stations

·     Mobile stations first, then check-in stations.

9. Continue topics or introduce new subject for brief conversation.

10. Repeat any announcements.
