Pamplona is the most important city in the Foral Community of Navarra and very famous, among other attractions, for its San Fermín festivities, known worldwide as Sanfermines, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest.
In this section of the route, you will leave the city through the university area and pass through quiet towns surrounded by cereal fields, stopping along the way in the famous Sierra del Perdón, where the legend says that the devil appeared to a pilgrim dehydrated to offer water in exchange for rejection of God and owes its name to the XIII century Basilica of Our Lady of Forgiveness.
