You arrive and find yourself thinking about a workshop by an awesome facilitator. You were so engaged that the time just flew by. You think to yourself, how did that happen, was it by design, was it just the facilitator's fascinating personality, or what? It felt like fun, while stretching myself, it did not feel like learning!
As Mihaly Csikszentmikalyi says, "Flow occurs when your skill level and the challenge at hand are equal".
“The best moments in our lives are not the passive, receptive, relaxing times . . . The best moments usually occur if a person’s body or mind is stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile”
- Csikszentmihalyi, 1990
