Teaching and Mentorship
My teaching experience has always been meaningful and personal to me. As this profession has always inspired me. Being among young and fresh minds and learn about their perception is very fascinating. I first began as a home tutor (2018–2022), where I taught school and college-going students about physics, biology, chemistry, Information technology and eased students' preparation on exams to secure good results.
Later, I had the opportunity to mentor postgraduate MPH students as a Summative Learning Project (SLP) Thesis Mentor at the BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University (20th Cohort, 2024–2025). In this role, I supported students in shaping their research ideas, preparing data collection manuals, ensuring ethical obligations, refining methodologies, and translating their findings into impactful academic contributions.
Currently, I also serve as a Teaching Fellow for Environment and Health (21st Cohort, 2025–2026) along with my position as a research associate at the same institution. This role has given me the chance to take on diverse academic responsibilities, including organizing classes, preparing lectures and presentations, and designing assessments such as tests and quizzes. Through these experiences, I’ve not only honed my teaching and facilitation skills but also learned how to foster an engaging and supportive environment for students navigating complex topics at the intersection of environment and public health.
