Master of Science in Environmental Science
Master of Science in Environmental Science
I pursued my Master of Science in Environmental Science at Khulna University (January 2023 – September 2024), graduating with a CGPA of 3.67 out of 4.00. My master's research focused on addressing real-world environmental challenges, culminating in a thesis titled “Exploring the Influence of Waste Management and Sanitation Practice on Drinking Water Quality in Disaster-Affected Communities in Dacope, Khulna.” Under the guidance of my supervisor, Dr. Quazi Zahangir Hossain, I investigated how household-level sanitation and solid waste management practices influence water quality after cyclones in the coastal areas of Bangladesh. My work was entirely based on quantitative data collection and laboratory experiments, with rigorous data analysis. My thesis defense was awarded as one of the best defenses in my session.
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science
From January 2018 to January 2023, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at Khulna University, earning a CGPA of 3.62 out of 4.00. My undergraduate journey was defined by curiosity and hands-on learning, culminating in a thesis titled “Hydro-chemical Characterization for Measuring Drinking Water Suitability of Different Medical Centers in Khulna City Corporation (KCC), Bangladesh.” Guided by Sadhon Chandra Swarnakar, I analyzed water quality across urban medical centers, combining field measurements, laboratory work, and data interpretation to assess public health risks. The data interpretation was based on Water Quality Index (WQI), Gibbs and Piper diagram and rigorous statistical analysis and method.
