Here's the information for my supervisions in Michaelmas 2026. Everything happens on Thursday afternoons. In what follows, I follow the Cambridge convention and count weeks starting on Thursdays.

Instructions

Write your name, CRSid and "XXn" on the first page. Here XX = "VM", "NT" or "RT" and n ∈ {1, 2, 3, 4}, depending on which sheet you're submitting.
Leave reasonable amounts of space between lines and/or in the margins, so I can put down my remarks. Otherwise, the usual things about well-presented solutions, legibility and comprehensibility apply. Before you submit your work, please make sure you’ve organised all your work into a single pile in the right order, with (say) a staple or a paper clip.
Turn in your work to the blue folder labelled with my name in the DPMMS C pigeonhole. Deadline for work submission is 16.00 on the Wednesday before your supervision. (Magdalene IAs - ignore this bullet point, and submit work to the place I've told you of.)

IA Vectors & Matrices

Waffle on changing bases - in this piece of waffle, I discuss the idea of changing bases. I try to motivate why we care about different bases, and propose an intuitive way of remembering the change-of-basis formula.

II Representation Theory
