My interests are in combinatorial representation theory. More precisely, I think about problems pertaining to the representation theory of algebraic groups, symmetric groups and diagram algebras. I also take a strong interest in the associated algebraic combinatorics.
I am currently working on a project on the diagrammatic problems of the Temperley-Lieb category and its generalisations in higher dimensions.
Curiously, my only publication up to this point has nothing to do with algebra or representation theory, but is instead about fluid dynamics!
Routes to stratified turbulence and temporal intermittency revealed by a cluster-based network model of experimental data (with A. Lefauve, M. M. P. Couchman, X. Jiang), Europhysics Letters, 149, No. 5.
