Mentor

Expert in benthic biology and ecology, research activities in which she is involved are focused on biodiversity distribution, relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, in relation to natural and anthropogenic pressures. Furthermore, she is one of the representative members of the UNIVPM for the AFRIMED project. (Researchers - Università Politecnica delle Marche, 2021).

From Italy, Francesco is a 28-years marine biologist. He studied at the UNIVPM, his interest in G.barbata led him to complete his master's thesis on this keystone species and now he works for it full-time. Apart from being an expert on this topic, he is also a very talented underwater photographer and diver.

From Basque Country, Asier is 24- years- old biologist and since he was a child he wanted to study marine biology. He carried out his Bachelor's Thesis in the Madrid Aquarium where he had the chance to study the blacktip shark and turtle welfare.

From La Reunion, Lisa is 22 years old, she is studying Agricultural and Environmental Engineering in Dijon and was the first incorporated into the project.

I am 25 years old, I studied Biology at the University of Girona (Udg) and realized my will to investigate the ocean during my BC's thesis elaboration in Lipsi island, Greece about fish biodiversity associated with Posidonia oceanica meadows.

Born in Belgium, Sofya is 23 years old and graduated from the University of Ghent (Ughent) as a biologist. She carried her BC's about how climate change effect on colour patterns of Araneus diadematus has been always fascinated by the ocean.
