You are welcome to begin where you are.
The TwC Coaching Practice is built on trust, confidentiality and making the necessary mistakes in a safe, supportive environment.
All the Teachers who Coach have learned this way, and will help you get back up when you trip over.
You don’t need to feel fully confident or experienced.
Curiosity and a willingness to try, are enough.
One teacher recently said,
“I’m not sure whether my experience or knowledge is enough yet, but I’m certain my curiosity and enthusiasm will make up for it. I can’t wait to dive in!”
That is exactly the right place to begin.
As founder of TwC, I invite you to take part in our monthly Coaching Practice.
This is a cost-free opportunity for teachers and coaches to:
practise coaching conversations
reflect together
develop their skills in a supportive environment
Participation is open to members of the TwC Supporters Group on LinkedIn, also cost-free.
Participants are typically:
teachers working in schools
trained or certified coaches
teachers who are developing coaching skills
If you recognise yourself in any of these, you will find your peers here.
The Coaching Practice offers a simple way to develop your coaching skills through real conversations.
Participants value the opportunity to:
practise in a supportive environment
reflect on real professional situations
receive thoughtful feedback
strengthen listening and questioning
connect with like-minded colleagues
Many participants find that these coaching conversations support both their coaching and their teaching.
Participants are paired with a partner for the month.
Each pair arranges conversations at times that suit them.
Guidelines are provided to support:
the coaching conversations
reflection
feedback
The structure is simple, flexible, and designed to support real practice during busy term-time.
