Yard Sale

Where: Center Community Center, Grapevine Road

Date: Saturday, August 1

Time: 8:00 am-1:00 pm

They are having the yard sale as a fund raiser to save the Community Center and keep it going.  Flyer attached.

Flowers for the Sanctuary

If you would be willing to purchase a small arrangement of flowers to adorn our sanctuary for worship on Sunday mornings, please let me know in the office, 828-689-2911.  The cost is $10.00.  Tori Huerth and Isaac Justus are going to supply flowers

now through the first frost.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School will be August 4-6. The theme this year is "Growing in Love".  If you would like to volunteer to help, please let us know in the office. I have attached registration forms to this e-mail.

Ignation Exercises

Sharon Welsch will be leading a group through Ignation exercises beginning in September.  The exercises offer a way to pray through the Gospel stories of Jesus in a fresh and meaningful way.  If you are interested, call Sharon Welsch at 828-776-6099 or the office.

Directory Update

We would like to update our directory.  We have new members and changes to our 2024 directory.  We will print an addendum that will be available as a hand-out.  Please submit your information/changes by e-mail, call the church office, or submit your information in the church offering plate.  Please let us know by August 15 if you would like to be in our directory.
