MRES Technology Resources

Marshall Road students have access to a number of excellent online resources to use at home and school. Please visit the "Student Resources" page on the Marshall Road school website for links to all of the websites we use here.

Some of our favorites include:

  • Myon Books: This online collection of books gives students access to thousands of titles to read or listen to.
  • Dreambox Math: Online math lessons and games that adapts to students skill levels and keeps their math learning fun and on target!
  • Wixie: Students can use this web-based design software to create posters, slideshows, graphic organizers, and so much more!
  • FCPS Coding Activities
  • Marshall Road Favorites Website (a work in progress!)

You might also find this video below helpful, as it gives an overview of our most frequently used resources.

Information about student and school login information is also listed below.

Login Information

Students log on to most of these resources using their FCPS network username (Student ID#) and password. Students are practicing these logins in tech lab classes and with their homeroom teachers. Individual account information cannot be shared over the internet, but a document with your child's username and password will be shared with you at fall conferences or sent home in late October. Please keep this information in a safe place and do not share your child's student ID number with others to protect their account privacy.

Students' email accounts for Google Apps are StudentID#@fcpsschools.net extension (ex. 1234567@fcpsschools.net).

Online Resources for Families

To access all of our our online resources, students MUST USE the buttons/links on the "Student Resources" page of the MRES website. Many of these links take you directly through Marshall Road or FCPS portals, so please bookmark the page for easy access!

Below are some documents and resources to guide you through the process of logging on from home!
