Marlboro Cares is a direct support organization. Our dedicated Marlboro Cares volunteers provide all types of non-emergency assistance to any resident of any age. This includes daytime medical and wellness transportation needs, errands, simple chores, or visits, upon request. Our volunteers provide meals to those in the community who have a serious illness or following surgery or childbirth. Meals on Wheels are also delivered upon request. Marlboro Cares volunteers also assist Marlboro residents who need help connecting with the long-term resources they need.
Marlboro Cares organizes enriching events such as Senior Lunches and Strong Living, as well as informational talks on health and/or aging. Marlboro Cares also provides Holiday baskets to our eldest residents and Valentine chocolates to Seniors living alone. New babies are welcomed with a gift and new residents are welcomed with a gift of maple syrup and a bag full of information on town organizations.
