I had the pleasure of joining the International Thwaites Glacier Colloaboration (ITGC), Thwaites Interdisiplinary Margin Evolution (TIME) team during the 2023-2024 austral summer expedition. Our team traveled from New Zealand to McMurdo Station, to the West Antarctic Ice Sheet Divide, and then off to our TIME2 field site. There we deployed 1000 seismic nodes in a dense grid before shooting 741 poulter shots. Additionally we recovered node displacements for strain and a dozen common midpoint ApRES surveys.
As of writing (spring 2025) much of the data is still in processing, but some papers are in review. I'll link them here as they publish. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the story of our very successful if aero-frusturating journey. And yes. There are penguins.
