QUANTITATIVE BID ANALYSIS

A side by side comparison of subcontractor bids vs. the in house QS. Deficiencies in the subcontractor bids are carried over from the "in-house" data until actual costs issued by the sub can be collected and analyzed for completeness of scope, and for verification that the subcontractor quantities are within the acceptable thresholds of risk. This is an example of my methodology  regarding this approach. 

ESTIMATE EXAMPLE  FROM SD TO CD

Side by side comparison of the evolution of an Estimate from conceptual SD schematics to full CD set and into a GMP based on the CD set.. This is an example of my methodology and approach to articulating the changes as the designs and specifications evolve and solidify during the preconstruction process.

BID LEVELING EXAMPLE

This sheet links to the master bid leveling sheet. This is an example of how I articulate and define the trade scopes to qualify bids and tie in the design documents, addendums and general requirements of the trade agreement. Prior to commitment. Doing so mitigates risk to the end user and demonstrates the value of  preconstruction services that include bid analysis and change work forecast as a part of the preconstruction agreement.

COST LOADED SCHEDULE

This an example of a cost loaded schedule. where the foundation was already 95% in. In theory one could simply enter the percentage complete in a tracking schedule,  and automatically generate the pencil requisition for that billing cycle. without all the head ache.

Site Specific Quality Control Manual including check lists 

Example of an actual site specific quality control manual, written and authored by me. There is no plagiarism or regurgitation of someone else's  words. I lay out the means methods and check lists required to satiate the mandates of the prime contract,  which calls for the issuance of this manual. I do so accurately, professionally and effectively. I lay out the methods and procedures required to insure that the quality of  the trade work as set forth in the plans and specifications is met or exceeded.

Site Specific Health and Safety Plan- HASP

Example of an actual site specific health and safety plan, written and authored by me. There is no plagiarism or regurgitation of someone else's words. I list the hazards associated with the  trade work to be executed on the site. I then list  the appropriate actions to be performed to mitigate or eliminate the specific hazards, no matter how remedial or severe. All known hazard's associated with the work are addressed with their associated remedy, and check lists are issued to put into action, the protocols and procedures specific to the projects Safety Plan.
