Terms of Use

These terms describe your use of Marjoram, a personal recipe organizer provided by the developer identified on its App Store listing (“we,” “us”). By using Marjoram, you agree to these terms.

1. Using Marjoram

Marjoram helps you save and organize recipes, plan meals, and prepare grocery lists. Use it lawfully and only import, store, or share content you have permission to use. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or bypass access restrictions on third-party services.

2. Your content and recipe sources

You retain your rights to content you create. Recipes, photographs, and other material from third parties remain subject to their owners’ rights. Saving a recipe does not grant permission to republish or commercially reuse it. We do not claim ownership of your recipe library.

Import results may be incomplete or inaccurate, and source websites may change or become unavailable. Check imported ingredients, quantities, instructions, and serving adjustments before cooking. You are responsible for checking allergens and food safety. Marjoram does not provide medical or dietary advice.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require a paid subscription. The available features, price, billing period, and any trial terms are shown before purchase. Apple processes payments through your Apple Account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. If you accept a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription unless canceled under the terms shown at purchase. To avoid a trial renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings or on Apple’s subscriptions page. Deleting Marjoram does not cancel your subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple, subject to its policies and applicable law. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.

4. Storage and availability

You are responsible for keeping backups of important content. You can export your library from the app. iCloud sync depends on your Apple Account, available storage, network connection, and feature access. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, successful import from every source, or that synchronization will always be immediate.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Marjoram handles your information and the choices available to you.

6. License and your rights

The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that agreement with information about Marjoram’s features and services. The Standard EULA governs the app license, warranties, and liability. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as Marjoram changes. The revised version will appear on this page with a new update date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required by applicable law.
