Every year, many motorists sustain life threatening injuries from traffic incidents in San Andreas. Established by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Traffic Enforcement Division is tasked with minimizing the amount of traffic incidents through education and enforcement.
To accomplish these goals, TED is tasked with educating the public in the area of motor safety. Traffic Enforcement is one of the most visible activities observed by the public and is frequently the only contact citizens have with law enforcement. Traffic stops are not only important because they promote driver safety, but because they frequently reveal criminal activities which may go undetected.
TED also has a vested interest in prosecuting individuals whose actions inherently put other motorists at risk. We specialize in DUI and DRE detection to get those who lack the ability to exercise proper judgment off of the road. In addition, we train extensively in pursuit intervention tactics to quickly apprehend individuals who pose a danger to other motorists.
