Communication - I'll send you a link via email either for Google Meet or Chessable Classroom (both are free to use).
Platform - Aside from Chessable Classroom, I use Chessbase and Lichess. Lichess is free , and its 'Study' feature is great.
Scheduling - One 60 minute lesson a week works for most, but I'm flexible to particular schedules. (USA EST time zone)
How does it work? Before we meet for the lesson, I'll usually ask that you send me a game or two of yours to analyze. If your game was played online, simply copy the PGN and paste the text into your email.Â
PGN stands for 'portable game notation', and you can find this below your game (both on Chess.com and Lichess) under 'share'. If your game was played in a tournament (i.e. OTB, or 'over-the-board) , simply input the game moves from your scoresheet into an online analysis board to get your PGN to copy and paste the notation in as above.
If you haven't played a game to analyze, that's ok - I have plenty of material to choose from for that day's lesson.
