mm · Player v.8 is a browser-based Pythagorean sequencer that converts any MIDI file into pure intonation in real time. Every note is recalculated using exact arithmetic fractions of powers of 2 and 3 (3ⁿ / 2ᵐ) — the same axiomatic system that has governed pure intonation for millennia.
Drop any MIDI file — Bach, jazz, folk, your own compositions — and hear it as it was mathematically meant to sound. The Pythagorean comma becomes audible. Equal temperament disappears.
