Like Rameau, I spent years seeking the light behind the obscurity of sound. This space is the result of that search: a place where music, geometry, and science converge. Here you will find the book, the visualisations, and the tools of Music Motion.
▶ Play with your computer keyboard. The letter rows play the keys; what counts is the position of the key, so it works on QWERTY, AZERTY or QWERTZ keyboards (keyboard map).
▶ Change the key: the KEY buttons (F C G D A E B), with ♭ ♮ ♯ and M / m for major or minor.
▶ Three systems: 12 TET (tempered), Axiomatic and Tonal. In Tonal you play by scale degree: change the key while you play and the same fingers sound in the new key.
▶ Tuning pitch: A = 440 opens the choice of reference — 415 baroque, 430 classical, 432, 440 modern, 442 bright, 466 renaissance.
▶ Instruments: choose among more than sixty, all in Pythagorean tuning.
▶ ♩ pulse is a metronome to play along with.
▶ Demonstration works built in: open ☰ RECS and press ▶ on any of them. Press RECS again to close the panel.
▶ Record what you play: ⬤ wav captures what you are hearing — click to start, click again to download the WAV file.
▶ Colour theme: the four small buttons at the top right change the look of the keyboard.
▶ The buttons at the top (console, score, simulator, coach, player) lead to the pages of the suite.

Each colour represents an independent voice, revealing the invisible geometry within Bach’s polyphony. These tracks, exported from Finale v27.4, are more than performances; they are digital blueprints of musical perfection.
I invite you to explore one of my latest visualisations below. This section is regularly updated to showcase various aspects of the "Music Motion" laboratory.
