I am working flexibly, offering in person and zoom therapy
I am a psychodynamic practitioner which means that I relate to how the young person is feeling now but also in relation to past experiences, events and people/family relationships.
I work creatively and with play. I have a ‘toolkit’ of skills and work flexibly to meet young people where they are.
I also offer therapy to parents whose child/children have additional needs.
Issues that arise in my work are varied and include:
Anxiety, stress, loss/bereavement, family breakdown, self-esteem, friendship issues, depression, transition, perfectionism, procrastination, social anxiety and peer pressure, though this list is not exhaustive.
I have a particular interest in culture and identity and working with young people who are or identify as neurodiverse.
