This will now be a Young Adult epic trilogy following Hays and McCall families, especially Matthew Hayes, who longs to join the Confederate army and prove his worth to the citizens of Winchester, and Brigid McCall, who may lose more than she can bear to the Civil War.

The first in a four-book series that covers the years of the American Revolution.  It will follow the Parker family as they help fight for independence in their own ways.
