This is the Dia de los Muertos altar my family set up for Nov. 2, 2019. The Day of the Dead is a joyful day that celebrates the living memories of loved ones that have passed away. The altar contains pictures of our loved ones, items they enjoyed, marigold flowers, salt and water for the journey, and on Nov. 2nd we will add tamales and pan dulce.
