Mobile stand
I used it because it's a simple and efficient idea to hold the mobile.
It consists of 2 perpendicular parts joined together with 2 screws and 2 nuts (2 T slot).

Software: Fusion 360
Material: Wood (thickness 3mm)
Machine: Laser cut
To apply 2D and 2.5D design
1- Design the prototype
2- Make the prototype on cardboard
3- Modify the prototype
4- Edit the design ( I recognized it's better for the 2 parts to be perpendicular to be attached with screws and nuts
5- Edit the dimensions to be stable. (Prototype)
6- Sketch the design and specify dimensions and angels
7- Design the 2D model on fusion 360
7.a- Draw the outlines
7.b- Add T slot in one part
7.c- Add holes in the other part
7.d- Extrude
7.d- Select the parts to cut on Laser Works
8- Modify to add fixing points
9- Apply fillet to the edges
10- Extrude components
11- Apply joints
12- Export dxf files
13- Import .dxf files to Laser Works
14- Select parts to cut
15- Save as .rld file
1- Upload rld file to the machine
2-Put the material in the machine (polywood 3mm) sheet
3- Power on th machine
4- press the File button, then Memory Files
5- Select the project file by hitting the Enter button
6- Track frame
7-Run
8- It took 41 sec only
I asked my instructor about the interlock mechanism to assemble the design parts, it was not the best idea, so I decided to use the fasteners as mentioned in the assignment description.
I got stuck because I think at first I can assemble the design parts using the interlock mechanism.
We should assemble using fasteners.
I modified the design parts to be perpendicular.
To be stable, the height and length were decreased.
I got stuck to know some 2 lines dimensions
1- I asked my instructor
2- I searched for the same sketch in the other parts and finally I found the fully detailed one.
Can't make the sketch fully defined, when I try to apply constraints it tells me the constraint already applied, or another constraint is applied.
I copied the T slot but there was an error while I mirrored it.
I sketched it from scratch again.
The holes disappear from the right part when I extrude, I think this happens because I couldn't make the sketch fully defined.
The holes appear when I didn't select them.
2D, 2.5D design & fusion to design and make the robot arm body
"Product design online" channel is really cool and helped me a lot to understand many topics.
I made a 3D stamp that stamps a robot.
I learnt new tools (offset, offset construction, project, loft, fillet)
I googled tutorials to practice more on Fusion 360, found that "product design online" YouTube channel is really cool and helpful.
