Laser cutting is often employed in the metalworking industry to cut metal into desired shapes. Some common products that are produced are: beams, columns, pipes, tubing, and sheet metal. These products can be used in a variety of industries, such as construction, automotive, and aerospace.
Vcarve is what you enter first, in order to upload the image to Thunder laser. This is where you can source images from google, and create barriers for the laser to cut.
Thunder laser is connected to the Laguna laser in our Forrest and Technology tech center. This program is what you use in order to figure out which parts of the image will be scanned, or cut. The black color(selected at the bottom), is cut, the blue, is scan.
The file is saved as, intitals - projectname.rd. This is through the Thunder laser program. The video here is the laser identifying the file and photo, and scanning in the images then cutting the frame.
