Hi there!
I am an incoming Assistant Professor of Finance at Maastricht University.
I am currently completing my DPhil (PhD) in Economics at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Professor Andrea Ferrero and Professor Francesco Zanetti, and am also a Senior Economist in the International Directorate at the Bank of England and a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics. Over my 10 years at the Bank and prior to joining my current research team, I worked on trade-related issues and forecasting in the Monetary Analysis Directorate. I was also previously the advisor to MPC member Professor Jonathan Haskel.
Through a mix of empirical methods and modelling, my research combines microeconomic data and granular insights to shed light on pressing questions at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance.
